P atina Consultants is a design firm that has developed a progressive step in the transformation of elder housing and care. This step is an option that is more holistic, community-centered, and one that meets the needs of all generations residing in and around established neighborhoods and towns. 

What is PatinaCare?

PatinaCare™ is the name of a new option that firmly embeds the elderly within their existing communities, and allows younger members to contribute in a meaningful manner. At the same time, the PatinaCare model can revitalize neighborhoods that have seen social and economic decline. Patina Consultants has developed the philosophical framework and the design guidelines in order to realize a more holistic approach to housing and caring for our growing elderly population.

The transformation of the elder housing and care industry into a resident and patient-centered service industry has been slow and still contributes to the displacement of the elderly. PatinaCare™ was developed to allow the elderly to age gracefully in place.

Services

We provide landscape architectural and architectural consulting and design services including analysis and data gathering, program development, design development, construction documentation and implementation, strategic planning, architectural coordination, and specific design consultation. Existing architectural analysis and architectural consultation is available.

We also provide services for the coordination of the components of PatinaCare™, including those necessary with builders and developers, health care providers, municipal organizations and zoning regulators. We prepare and perform Community Visioning Meetings and other services including financing strategies and the idea of stakeholder involvement.
